About Me
My name is Peyton Berry and I am a senior and soon to be graduate at Auburn University. I am pursuing a Major in Hotel and Restaurant Management along with a Minor in Business. My decision to pursue a career in the Hospitality Industry with a focus on event planning has been fueled by my heart for serving others as well as my undying love for traveling to new places. I have had multiple opportunities of fulfilling both of these passions in places such as Nicaragua, Canada, China, as well as various parts of Europe. Growing up in the city of Atlanta, Georgia I have become accustomed to a life full of hustle and bustle, not to mention traffic, which has successfully prepared me for this industry.
Beginning my career at Auburn University in 2013 as a Psychology Major, I immediately knew something needed to change. Although I was satisfying my motivation to accommodate people, I was lacking the ability to express my natural creative genius (well, in my opinion anyways). The hospitality industry and event planning specifically has given me the capability of showcasing this "creative genius" of mine as well as utilizing my communication and organizational skills.
Goals
In the years to come after graduation I hope to fulfill my dream of becoming an event planner for large scale events such as concerts, fashion shows, and much more. After living on the loveliest, and seemingly smallest, village on the plains for four years I hope to go back to what I know best in a big city. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for me in this growing industry.
All things are possible until they are proved impossible--and even the impossible may only be so as of now.
